End-of-Life: Supported

At Soul at Heart, we believe that the end of life should be as personal and honored as it was at its beginning. Our End-of-Life (EOL) Doulas are non-medical companions dedicated to reclaiming the natural process of dying. We provide a steady, calming presence to help you make a guided, peaceful transition in the comfort of your home setting.

Our mission is to empower your decision-making and support you in choices that honor and celebrate your unique story, ensuring your final days are defined by meaning, fulfillment, and connection.

We work with you and your loved ones, partnering with Hospice and home care providers to fill the quiet gaps in care and support both the heart and the home. Our role is to be a judgment-free anchor for you and your loved ones:

  • A Peaceful, Watchful Presence: We offer bedside vigils and respite for weary caregivers, maintaining a serene environment where the soul can find sanctuary and rest.
  • Gentle Advocacy: From formalizing advance directives to organizing “Next-of-Kin” binders, we handle the complex details so the atmosphere remains light and focused on what matters most.
  • Legacy & Connection: We can help capture the essence of a lifetime—transcribing Lasting Words to Loved Ones’ keepsakes, facilitating final goodbyes, and curating legacy projects that reflect your heart and pass along your wisdom.
  • Final Arrangements with Grace: We handle the practicalities of final arrangements and notifications, allowing your family can simply be together.

Although death is a natural part of life, it doesn’t always feel that way. Medical systems often make it feel cold and clinical. Doulas bring strategies to brighten the journey with warmth, peace, and a calm, reassuring presence. Our contemporary, holistic approach to end-of-life care ensures that your environment remains tranquil, your wishes are prioritized, and the focus is kept where it truly belongs: on what matters most.
